“ Veganic has been my go-to Thai place whenever I'm around North Park/Hillcrest. Their food is always absolutely incredible, and I suspect the mock duck could fool an unsuspecting omnivore into thinking it was the real deal. The "mock meat" proteins at most Thai places I've been to has usually been pretty bad, so finding a place that does it right is a real gem. The vibe is always spot on too. Definitely the right setting for a romantic dinner date. Highly recommended :) ”

“ After a tough week at work, I was looking for something satisfying on Friday night and decided to try Veganic Thai for takeout. The online ordering was quick and simple, and by the time I arrived, my food was ready to go. I loved that I could track my order and see when it was prepared. We went for the Pad See Ew with mock duck, and it did not disappoint! The mock duck was amazing--tender and full of flavor. We also tried the Thai Twin dish with mock shrimp and chicken in a sweet and sour sauce, served with veggies, pineapple, and cucumber. The mock chicken had a fantastic smoky flavor that really stood out, and the sweet and sour sauce was spot on, with the perfect balance of tanginess and sweetness, especially with the stewed fresh tomatoes. It felt so authentic. ”

“ One of the best vegan restaurants I have been to in awhile. I am a big fan of Thai food. I am a longtime vegan of 25 years so thrilled to dine at an all vegan thai spot. I opted for the massaman curry. Plentiful portion size and reasonably priced. Flavorful. My server said the curry has a range beginning at three up to 10 for spiciness. I opted for a five aka medium spicy and found this to be a good amount of heat yet not overboard. I opted to get some hot sauces on the side. Simple yet sufficient ambiance. Recommended! ”

“ My husband likes the cashew nut stir fry here and I like the drunken noodles. The meat substitutes here (as everything is Vegan) taste really good. I got the soy beef this time. I've had food from Veganic Thai a number of times, and have found that the drunken noodles (I get it without bell peppers) is the best thing on the menu out of everything I've tried. The drunken noodles here is SO good. I got it at spicy level 8 but they don't make their food *that* spicy here so I'll try a 9 next time. The reason why Veganic Thai doesn't get a 5 star from me is because some of the other food I've had from here didn't impress me. The pad Thai in particular is pretty bad, and if I remember correctly the pad see ew was a little bland. I still do like this place though, and if I'm craving drunken noodles I would gladly choose Veganic Thai over the other Thai restaurants in the area. ”

“ Delicious food! The flavors hit home and authentic. The spice range of 1 to 10 means everyone is happy (even a 7 wasn't burning your mouth but just very well balanced). The Massaman Curry and Drunken Noodles were amazing. Quick and friendly service, good prices, large portions, plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor too, and queer friendly vibes. ”

“ I don't eat vegan food too often, but I enjoyed this place a lot. I tried their Thai Spring Rolls for an appetizer, which was really good and had a lot of crispiness in each bite. For lunch, I wasn't too hungry, so I ended up going with the Wonton Soup. Overall, it was a good soup, but it was very bland. I had to add a lot of flavor in order to make it actually enjoyable to eat. I would give this place 3.5 stars, but I'm going to round up to 4 stars. However, I would still come back here to try their other vegan options. ”
